I was actually lucky to receive an LOA without being an athlete, and I know a couple candidates near me who also have received one without recruitment, too.

I was awarded a 4-year scholarship to Stanford, Yale, and UPenn on the first board. My ACT was a 35 composite.

It states on the website that the results are announced 2-4 weeks after the board convenes. Also, I saw on the other forums that people received emails about their scholarship if they did receive one, but I am not 100 percent sure.

Hi, I just had a quick question. Are you not allowed to wear contacts to your eye exam? I heard that you were supposed to not have contacts in for 2 or 3 days before the test, or they do not administer it. Is this true? Thank you.

I just had a quick question about how to get the LOA. Is it possible to receive an LOA without completing my CFA or SOE. I just received an email from my congressional officer that I was in good standing to receive one, but he said that I needed to show progress on my application. Thank you!

The West Point tennis team did not recruit any blue-chips in the last 6 years. There are mostly 4 stars and 3 stars, with occasional 5 stars. For the class of 2018, three 4 stars were recruited. Also, they do recruit more than 2-3 players some years.

Apparently the SLE application started January 15th, but I was able to do mine on January 12th. It says my SLE status is "PENDING (Jan 12, 2018)." Is this possible?
