I'm winning after the first 2 rounds. I will enjoy my moment at the top of the list, because it won't last long. I have Duke winning it all. So I should find my bracket sliding down the list as the tournament progresses. Great tournament this year with no clear favorite in my mind.

The last of my 3 sons received his USMA appointment today. Hard to believe all 3 will have attended WP. DS#1 was class of 2015 and is an aviator. DS#2 is in the class of 2019. They all worked hard to get there. I am very proud of them.

I would suggest going for A-Day. On A-Day you see your candidate cadet join the entire corp and become an official cadet. On A-Day weekend you also get to spend some time with your cadet on Saturday and Sunday. I know it is over thinking things, but we also want our DS to face the challenge...

My DS received a nomination to USMA from Sen Feinstein's office today. He was notified by phone call. The nomination hasn't been posted to his portal yet. DS already has a competitive nomination from our congress person(CA-24).

DS already accepted the AROTC offer to his #1 school. He is just pondering what his final decision will be should he be appointed to USMA.

My DS recently was awarded a 4 yr AROTC scholarship. He also has a LOE and is 3Q to USMA and I think is likely to get an appointment in a couple of months. So in a few months he will be likely faced with the choice of USMA or AROTC. The AROTC university has a good undergrad business school...
