Thank you GoJack! I can honestly say that without these boards I doubt that my son would have received any scholarship at all, much less have one transferred :) INFJx3

My son received a transfer of his four year scholarship!!! We are praising God up in here!! INFJx3

Just another update - we received a call from Cadet Command yesterday and I can proudly say that they have to be some of the kindest people I have ever spoken to in my life! DS's transfer with new information provided by us is going up for review today (Wednesday) and we should have an answer...

We are still waiting too - so if misery loves company we are here with you!!! INFJx3

Got another call last night. This time the LTC and a retired 3star who sits on the board of the college that the transfer was denied to are talking to CC. The 3star called CC on my son's behalf. That floored us completely. We are all ready for the state school but we are waiting on more info...

I am sorry to ask - I know it sounds dumb but on the DODMERB web site it says that my son is DODMERB qualified. Does that mean that he has passed the physical exam requirements? INFJx3

thank you go jack We are proceeding to the state school and not thinking too much about the other school that the LTC wants our son to go to :) We are so thankful for all the input we have received from these boards - y'all are just darling!!! INFJx3

hey all! I am still praying for everyone on this board. I just wanted to let y'all know that DS received his official letter today. INFJ

The schools involved in our situation are indeed pricey. It is amazing to me that the one school (state school wants DS to play football etc) will not give one thin dime to cover room and board, and the other will give as much as is necessary to cover room and board for DS to attend! Weird...

We are praying for a transfer here. From one in state school to another. We have been offered more academic money at the 2nd school and it would cover our room & board. we really can't afford the room & board at the school that the army picked. INFJ

I checked DS's status and he got the scholarship to his #2 school - still no word on three or four year and we want to transfer so now we have to pray for that to happen. Still praying for everyone who is waiting INFJ

OKay I don't know if the eye exam with the 20/20 vision had a hand in it but my son got the scholarship!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our last name starts with JA and we live in MD. INFJ!!!!!!!!!!!
