Is there any way for waitlisted applicants to hear before May as to whether they've been offered an appointment? I ask this because all of the other colleges I've been accepted to require a decision to be made by May 1.

Does it matter what you major in while in nrotc to get certain jobs in the navy, or does everyone pretty much get to go where they want regardless of their major?

After I read this post I went to my status page and low and behold there were my new school choices. However, on my application the 'No decision has been made' sentence still stands. My guess is they're either about to update your son's status, or it was a glitch after they updated his schools.
