Not true. He can use it Friday-Sunday. Plenty of people brought cars my year and everyone was glad that they did. We went into Boston or Providence pretty regularly so it was nice to have. Ubers aren't cheap and aren't guaranteed.
Sounds like you need to talk to a different recruiter. If your recruiter doesn't think you're competitive for OCS, I don't know why they think you'll be a good applicant for USNA. USNA is a cool place, but the end goal is to commission, which you could do within the next year or so. You'd have...
I took my shuttle run on a slick gym floor, but looking back I would have rather done it on a track or concrete.
You get two minutes for the crunches, so try not to burn yourself out immediately. Set a goal, then divvy that up so you are meeting pace to hit that by the end of two minutes. For...
Work on the shuttle run for sure. Your mile time is great, but your shuttle run could be at least a second faster. You sound like you're already in good shape, so just keep practicing it. The turnaround slows a lot of people down

My resume was pretty similar. I struggled in math, and did not take Calculus in high school. I was sent to prep because of this. Prep school is designed for capable candidates who have a weakness in an area or two. If you think your kid did not have a weakness, then obviously he/she would not be...
I had a 32 ACT, 3.7 GPA and I got into a prep school. It isn't entirely based on the numbers on the page. People with perfect ACT/SATs can and do get rejected from the academies. Academics are only a piece of the application, and admissions looks for a lot more than just good test scores.
Sometime in the next few weeks your portal will update with documents you need to fill out and take to a Navy recruiter to enlist. NAPS is small and the process is different from a traditional enlistment, so many recruiters won't really know what to do with it at first. One of the documents will...
