Our son has flat feet and uses some over-the-counter shoe inserts for his arches. He is currently a sophomore, and his feet are still growing. He plays football, runs track and is very active without pain/discomfort. Will he be DQ'd from attending a service academy or accepting an ROTC...

From what we have heard from many, many sources, your grades are important; however, your performance on the standardized tests (ACT or SAT) will carry more weight.
