I read your post and am excited for some possible good news that may be coming. Our son also just finished the play Bye Bye Birdie this past weekend. We really enjoyed it! My son played the mayor, the police officer & one of the Shriners. He had so much fun. Liz

My DS is also 3 q'd with 2 nominations as well. Haven't heard a word from the Academy since his board qualified letter came in January. No BFE or TWE yet. Still waiting.....

DS and DD are Darling Son or Dear Son and the other is daughter. BFE is Big Fat Envelope (that appointments come in), the TWE is the Thin White Envelope with the rejection letter or waitlist info.

I think the BFE's are still going out. Michigan only has one listed and they have enough spots for at least 17 with all the districts, etc.

Armystrong2015 - I have noticed that your appointed to both USNA & USMA. So which one are you choosing to attend?

DS - means Darling Son or Dear Son. Same thing with DD - Dear Daughter. 3'd - means triple qualified. Scholastically, physically and medically with DodMerb.

Gives us a little more hope knowing that my son is an Eagle Scout as well. Hopefully admissions will value it as much as we do!

My son was Board Qualified in Jan. w/ 2 noms and Qualified Dodmerb - how does one get a candidate visit weekend? No letter or correspondence has come from USNA since the Board Qualified letter.
