Why is being on hold better than on file at this point in the game? Since they are behind all the people wouldn't that mean admissions still has to evaluate everyone else on file still before giving the holds right now a decision? Please correct me if I'm wrong or if you have any other insight...

It's somewhere in this forum I honestly can't remember exactly where, I'm sorry. However I do recommend calling admissions tomorrow to see exactly what it means. I remember reading that that is what people did and admissions told them they will be getting a spot are prep school. Good luck...

I think I read somewhere that that means they will be offering you a spot at the prep school. Not 100% sure though. What state are you from if you don't mind me asking?

You are officially in, congrats! A BFE should be coming soon. Usually your admissions officer notifies your congressman and then your congressman calls you with the news first though.

Kneedeep, I just talked to admissions the other day and due to the bad winter admissions is running a little bit behind this year. They couldn't give me an exact time when my file would be designated but I would assume all initial principal appointments should be going out within the next week...
