Hang in there. Be very proactive in contacting people and making sure that they have what they want. Never, ever, sit and wait for the phone to ring. If so-and-so has to get something done for you, be very helpful and stay in touch with them to offer whatever you can to help them -- you are not really offering help, but are instead simply staying on them till they get done what you need for them to get done.
