Keep the Faith My son was on the wait list last year. He and 2others received their appointments 3 days before I Day. Hang in there but realize it is a long shot.

We still can't believe it..... Our heads are still spinning. Thanks to all of your positive thoughts and well wishes. We leave tomorrow and I still can't believe it happened.

He got the call Unbelievable. Our son got the call yesterday afternoon. He has been wait listed since April. We are all very excited and there is so much to do with only 1 day to prepare. Anchors aweigh.

Would anyone venture a guess as to how many wait listed candidates remain on the list?

Trying not to be too impatient but it's not easy. When you say "they wiped out all of this areas WL's " Which area are you talking about?

We've read several posts from candidates who have been taken off the wait list but have yet to hear of a candidate that has been offered an appointment.

Have any of the waitlisted candidates received an appointment from The USNA?

Still waiting?.... I don't know about those numbers. The waitlist letter stated the class size would include 1190 students. The good news is, another mail delivery and no letter.

Fortunately waiting We realize how fortunate he is to still have chance. It's what he always wanted. Good luck to all the candidates.

Patiently waiting? We realize he's lucky to still be in play. We just wish we understood the process of selection from the wait list. Does anyone have insight on the process.

Also from no and wait listed My son is on the wait list since April. We are also from NJ. He is strong acdemically, an athlete, class officer etc. etc. NJ is too competitive. So many strong candidates on the vine. Have any wait listed candidates been offered an appointment?

Still waiting My son is still waiting. Wait listed in april and have not heard anything. Has anyone else heard since being wait listed?
