His courses were Arts, some STEM combined as his major is pre-law. He trained with a European Professional Soccer team whole summer this year before returning to School. He was offered to play with them but decided to go back to school to reapply to USNA.

Thanks for your message, justdoit19. DS applied 2 years ago in 2017 for the class of 2021. DS says he wants to try until he gets it. DS should have re-applied last year but DS wasn't sure of who he was & what he wanted. If DS does not get it this time, DS is prepared to go through OCS.

My DS received a TWE today from USMA admissions. Actually it was a portal update. Had Noms (both Congressional & senatorial). DS has stellar GPAs, excellent Leadership skills & broad ECs, etc..But I guess the competition was fierce this year. Plan B in place. Moving on. At least, my DS...

CA 39. My DS received a TWE today. Plan B in place. However, it has been a long long long journey for my DS & myself. During the journey, my DS has matured a lot. I am so thankful for that. Best of luck to all those waiting for a decision from AFA!

There are 53 congressional districts in California total. KrisKatz confirms there are 5 districts showing winners. So it is true that the forum is supposedly at a level of 10% representation......lol.....

@KrisKatz, Glad to be of some help! Considering the forum represents 10% of the total applicants, I can safely say there are about 50 candidates waiting to hear from USAFA in southern California?....lol

CA District 39 here. Just got informed by AFA Admissions Officer today that my DS would hear in or out by Apr 21. I don't know if that is good or bad.

Long time ago, a close family friend's DS, Class of 2007 was waitlisted and he was told that he was #7 0n the wait list. He eventually received his appointment 2 weeks before graduation(May 28). He is successfully commissioned and now LT in the Navy.
