It happens. DS won a 3yr on second board and it was upgraded to a 4 yr just after 3rd board. This was done at the national level. You can clearly compete for available dollars once enrolled and on-site.

Turns out that the ROO called him at 6AM today but he missed the call. Upgrade confirmed now he really needs to get to work! Thanks all.

He chose MSOE as he was already a committed lacrosse recruit. DS is actually on his way back from Reno as I type this; think he was at UNR yesterday with friends.

DS was a 2nd board winner of a 3yr AROTC scholarship, accepted the offer, completed DoDMerb "qualified". Portal under "selection status" now reads 4yr Scholarship and Offer Accepted where it used to read 3 Year Advanced Designee Scholarship Is this an upgrade?

Agreed. A quick call to my sons school with notice of the AROTC scholarship and they covered everything the AROTC scholarship wasn't with all of the academic scholarship money they had already slotted for him. I received a new financial aid award letter with a new dollar aid amount called AROTC...
