We look at it as a donation now, to support many different causes and the AOG. After our DS graduates there are some good benefits as well for him. DS, Doolie year we were on Web-Guy a lot. Almost every day looking for pics, not so much anymore. So, for us it is worth it. Take care, give care!

Leave a little detail info off, this way you can get to make a call to your parents during BCT to get that info that you normally wouldn't.

Go to a local Credit Union and open an account. Once 18, take the parents off if you wish. Not a bad idea to keep 1 parent on the account. This way if you need help with your account they have access. We had to help DS a few times when he was unable too. Have fun in BCT.

Leave a few lines off the SF-86 form and while in BCT you will be able to call your parents for that info. A phone call you usually would not be able to make. Not the pot stuff, just some info you may not have known. Good luck and have fun!

Thats waht I told my son, except 2 years to go. He was told cadet's cannot travel after finals. The 96 hour thing. You are married to the AF not the USAFA.
