Definitely! I was at NMMI last year and now during my first semester here as a 4/c all the classes I took last year are virtually the same here, so my stress level is a lot lower than a lot of my classmates as well as I was also able to validate Calc 1 and 2.

Im a sponsored CG prep at NMMI and the higher scores here are around 240-250. Keep in mind that its 3000 feet altitude, but if your son is in that range he should be fine.

If you're trying to improve either act or sat scores and not trying to drop a lot of money on a tutor picking up a review book with 5 or 6 practice tests is a real good idea. I did that with the act and it boosted my score up about 4 points and it has good pointers for test day.
