I have a bonded retainer and was not disqualified for it. They asked about the appliance & I assured them that it had not caused any issues (mine has been one for about a year and has not been an issue). She wrote a note down on the paper, but my status came back as qualified!

Thank you!! I am just hoping it is not an error, as I previously received a letter that I was an alternate for the nomination. Looks like I will just have to wait & see what comes in the mail!

I received a letter a few weeks ago that said I was an alternate for my Congressional Nomination. However, when I checked my portal this morning- under nomination status it listed "Received: Presidential, Honorable Dave Brat". I have not received any letters or indication of this nomination...

Update- just received letter in the mail. Was selected as an alternate nominee for USAFA.

Haven't heard yet... I have a presidential nom, but I would really like to hear good news! Didn't get either senatorial noms- so fingers crossed. I'm assuming since phone calls went out & I didn't get one, it isn't good news- but you never know until you've got the letter!
