Our Senator called last week. Our congressman followed up on Friday with an email congratulating my son and letting him know the portal will be updated on the 20th.

OR

My son also received a phone call from our Senator this morning that he received an appointment USAFA!

Yes he received an appointment exactly 1 week after the NWL letter appeared in his portal. Our congressman called him and then two days later, the official acceptance appeared in the portal. Hang in there! The waiting is so stressful!! Good luck!

Our congressman called my son on a Tuesday to notify him that he was receiving an appointment. The official acceptance showed in the portal on Thursday. He received a really nice acceptance in the mail the following Wednesday.

Yes he received a communication in his portal that he was moved to the NWL.

My son was moved to the NWL and received an appointment the following week without submitting his 7th semester transcripts. At that point he had not yet taken his exams.

Thank you! We are in OR03. My son had nominations from Earl Blumenauer and Ron Wyden but Blumenauer was the one that made the call letting him know he was getting the appointment.
