Can anyone tell me when appointments/rejections start going out for RD? I handed in my completed application by the EA deadline but there was a misunderstanding and I was told that I would not be reviewed until RD. Thanks for all of your help!

I don't know. Mine says Application Class of 2012 as well. I don't know if that means anything but it's probably just a typo or something. I really hope they can find some way to get me a decision by Christmas....I did have everything in by EA.:frown: Good Luck everyone!

yeah I received the same e-mail. I e-mailed her back asking her what the problem was and she said that my application said that I graduated in 2008, in which case I would need to wait for 1st semester transcript. But I am an idiot and made a mistake (I am really a senior graduating in 2009)...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You have received an LOA (letter of assurance). Basically, this is saying that if you are deemed medically qualified, you will receive an appointment. Remember though, this is contingent upon being medically qualified. Congrats...and Good Luck!:thumb:

I haven't but I was at the Academy a week ago and asked the admissions office if they had received my completed application. They said that they had received it but not to expect the login page to "gray out." She didn't mention anything about a letter. I am sure that they are so overwhelmed...

I was shocked too, but thats what several people from the admissions office told me. They said that they are doing it differently this year....I guess we'll see!

THis is kind of unrelated but I just checked DODMERB and it says that letter DD2386 went out today. Is this a Qualification letter or disqualification letter? Thanks:smile:
