    NROTC and USNA

My daughter was usna or bust last year until August, when someone suggested nrotc if her goal was to be a naval officer. She remained steadfast about usna, but applied for nrotc and limited her other school choices to ones which had nrotc programs. Fast forward one year, this Sunday she is...

Wow! Thank you for all the information. My daughter was accepted to MIT in December and assigned there with nrotc (first choice, but who expected to get in there!). She als has an appointment at Usna. She is visiting both in April If anyone has more information, it would be appreciated.

    Nrotc post-interview

My daughter had her nrotc officer interview today. Back in the day when I went on college interviews, I sent a handwritten thank you. Which medium is preferred for a thank you in 2017, handwritten and mailed, typed and mailed, or email? Thanks

Questions about choosing schools for the application

I'm new here and trying to help my daughter navigate the nrotc application. We have two questions, so far. 1. MIT and Tufts are on her list of schools to apply to, but it appears since they are affiliated she can only select one of those schools in her 5 choices. Clearly admission to either...
