Sad day, waiver denied--end of the line?

It is a great community, that is one of the reasons we are so sad not to be part of it after all, that was one of the biggest draws. This is so hard! We were going to visit some backup school options next week, but now they have all cancelled their visits and closed too. Feels like the options...

Thank you. I think you have to initiate the PM to me and then I can send the question in response to yours.

Sad day, waiver denied--end of the line?

Mr. Mullen, I would like to send you one question if you would be willing to oblige since you have been so helpful and supportive on this forum. Is that possible? I was not able to initiate a PM myself. Thank you.

Sad day, waiver denied--end of the line?

I appreciate that thought, but it doesn't seem to match with what they did. It's just that the ONLY new information they received after they asked for more information for the waiver confirmed what they already knew about the prior history and then added/confirmed there are no new or remaining...

Sad day, waiver denied--end of the line?

I appreciate your frankness. This is a heartbreaker though. It was over a previous issue which is 100% resolved for over a year. Not really sure why they asked for a re-evaluation, which was 100% positive and supportive of his candidacy, and then said no anyway. Could have saved us $2000 in...

Sad day, waiver denied--end of the line?

It's a very tough day here. My DS just got an email that his medical DQ waiver was denied after getting an early action conditional acceptance. We already have plane tickets to leave Thursday for the EAP event from Montana. The email mentions he can request a "reconsideration" but we don't...

    AEP cancellation?

Just read on a college board that lots of colleges are cancelling admitted student days, even with as short notice as just a few days, due to coronavirus concerns. Any news on if the March 19 AEP might be under reconsideration for this same reason? Hope not, but seems to be a fast changing story.

Class of 2024 AEP Parents Thread

Looks like we will have a free day after AEP in the area (or maybe closer to the Hartford area) on Saturday March 20 before flying out on the 21st from BDL. It's our first time in the area. Any suggestions on something fun or interesting for a mom and DS to do that extra day while we are...

Worried about distance--any advice or reassurance?

Thank you for this. Yes, it's really me not him that I'm worried about. So hard to let them fly away, but so proud to watch them do it. I'll go check out that blog. Truly bittersweet.
