DD has definately been trying to bulk up - but not easy for her. She went to school with a semester already finished from AP/dual enrollment classes so she won't technically be behind but her father and I really don't want her to miss a semester. Of course she is very independent she will...
My DD (just completed freshman year participating in ROTC) also has quite a few SMP cadets in her ROTC class - not sure of percentage. She has completed two drills and has enjoyed it so far. She was set to leave for basic at Ft. Leonard wood on 6/3 and return to campus one week before the fall...
My DD is one of the 16 going for early orientation. Maj. Dollar told us at orientation back in June that there were some 3yr AD scholarships available. Will be interesting to see if the recent cuts will affect these scholarships.
Does anyone know what happens to the scholarships that don't get accepted. I know there are some kids who are getting multiple offers from different services. Does the money go to the schools or back with CC to be offered to the next person down the list? Thanks.
OK so to change the subject I though I would post some information I learned today. My husband talked to the ROO at out DD's school choice (BAMA). She is going there either way. He said he actually doesn't have the list yet of who is getting scholarships. He did say that there has been at...
Ohio, I'm one of the ones that asked a couple of questions of CC on facebook. I even tried posing the same question in a couple of different ways....they're not giving in. Don't understand what the secret is. One thing I have learned from my husband's military career is the military does it...
Has anyone ever determined if you get a rejection letter in the mail if you do NOT get a scholarship? It may have been mentioned but there are too many posts to look through!
Don't waste time worrying about stats. You have a great opportunity and should take full advantage of it! Obviously whoever interviewed you saw something in you. The ROO my DD met with told her that a good strong personal statement and personal interview can go a long way. My husband...
My DD was one of the ones that received the medical packet but has not been awarded a scholarship as of yet. Unfortunately, got us really excited. Hopefully if she doesn't get an offer now it will mean she is close to the top for any leftovers. Her physicals are set up for this Wed/Fri. and...
Done checking boards for the night. Here's hoping that tomorrow brings good luck for those of us that haven't heard anything yet and a HUGE congrats to those of you who have. Getting plan B in order as we speak!
We are Mo, received a DodMERB packet last Fridy and still no status change but see that some other M's have gotten a "yes". At this point, hoping it's not alphabetical order.
