I just did 4 years in the Corps. I personally would not recommend H-1 as an engineering student. Please PM me if you want more detailed info and I would be happy to offer up some advice.

I'm still waiting on my $300 CULP bonus pay from last summer. The HRA at my school says they don't know how to process it to get me the money. Cadet Command says all HRA offices know how. It will be interesting to see if I ever get it.

I did almost all of my training at Ft. Knox the day before I flew out to Mongolia. The cadre know how much of a pain it is to get the training done at home.

I went on a CULP mission to Mongolia last summer. It was an amazing experience and after talking to cadets on other trips, a very unique experience. We participated in a U.N. Exercise with something like 13 or 14 other nations.

I am going to CULP and Airborne this summer. We are sending a pretty good number of cadets to summer training.

They are not cross town affiliates. TAMU-G is a completely separate program. However, many people who don't receive admission to Texas A&M attend A&M Galveston for a year then transfer to main campus.
