My DD has not felt any pressure to date. She has cadated two cadets of her own volition. My advice is the same I would give to any female at any college - alcohol can lead to things going sideways and lock her dorm room at night. Use common sense. Also agree that there are good apples and...
WOW - that video is crazy. Looks like that person got our of position after chute deployed?
Yes - they still record and debrief after every jump. Three jumps were done in one day - two Q3s and one Q2 which were all discussed. Sent up another day and came down with another Q3 and kicked out...
I would always argue on the side of safety so we can agree on that, and of course the WOBs or whoever need to make safety decisions. Wings are not worth an injured or dead cadet. I think ineptitude is a tad harsh as well with this cadet completing all training with high marks and no issues...
I wonder what those procedures were?
Mentioned above three Q3s and one Q2. Having trouble with exit and tumbling, chute was deployed at correct time and landing properly. I think ignorantly or willfully dangerous is a stretch. Is there a reason someone would do that who is a rule follower...
Landings were all good. Exiting hasn’t been pretty with tumbling but always getting chute pulled in proper time. Practice form for exiting has new perfect but that’s practice.
My DD was a Falcon and had a friend who got a TWE. He went to one of the prep schools, and they both got in the following year. Just another avenue rather than regular college that I know worked.
My DD accepted her FF after much disappointment that she did not receive a direct appointment, and I think it was the best thing that happened to her! She went to NWP for a semester, and second semeseter got to "adult" on her own in an apartment while going to community college to finish out...

Hello all,
This is the response I got from the Waiver CA CDE regarding a waiver for a private school: "It would be a local decision in consultation with the Local Public Health Officer and the State Public Health Office. Only the Superintendent or Head of School is allowed to submit the waiver...
I just sent a comment to Newsom via the link, and inquired with waiver@cde.ca.gov about the possibility for a waiver for this small private prep school in the middle of nowhere. We will see. Have not mentioned to Durbeck’s. Hate to bother them if there is no hope. They had a plan before...
