Also have a scholarship I can use at Texas A&M and I plan on majoring in Comp Sci, which is the only thing keeping me hesitant due to the demands of the major. I am visiting A&M this upcoming month to make sure it's the right choice for me, maybe we could keep in contact!

I really appreciate you taking the time to write this up for me, and this decision just has me overly stressed. I know if I want to attend the Corps of Cadets I can make my Comp Sci degree work, I just need to be prepared to work extra hard.

Thanks for the encouraging words, it's definitely a hard choice determining where I'll be for four years and the completely different life styles.

Cyber and MI are my exact goals, which just is a little stressful when I know the GPA is that important, do you feel as if I was able to pull a 3+ I would be okay if I succeeded in other areas?

One of my biggest concerns is my GPA, I know it sounds like an excuse but I am confident I could easily get a 3.5+ at my backup universities but I am afraid to get like a 2.5 at a SMC! Thank you though, I guess I know I'll likely be fine in the back of my mind just the continual stress is there...

No, ROTC command understands admissions decisions aren't out. Put your best school you want to go down, you'll get the official process in the mail but if you don't get admitted, you send a letter of cadet command with an acceptance letter (to your backup school) and a short writing on why you...

Several people if stats are not posted will be asking, even though there is much more in the process it can at least give someone a hint of what people in the process are doing. It does no harm, and a student can avoid it.
