That is golden ticket, but it means they do not consider you for direct appointment this time.

Every applicant is considered for PS, but I do not think everyone gets recommendation for PS from MOC. My DS letter from his congressman specifically says nomination for academy appointment. I would think that specific recommendation for PS from MOC makes chanses higher , if DS/DD is qualified...
