My son hasn't decided if he is going to reapply, but he was waitlisted for USNA direct admit and wasn't turned down until the end of May. He asked what specifically was a "plebe-like schedule" and he was told. "Take a full course load and make sure one of the classes is Calculus." He was told...

We “know people” and still got turned down so I can categorically confirm it doesn’t help 😂

We are also done waiting, with a turned down. He’s disappointed but I know his future is bright wherever he lands! It was so nice sharing this journey with all of you.

There has been a small trickle both ways. A few appointments and last week or so, a few turn downs. But not a lot of movement either way. Not sure about the medical but some of the turn downs, came by way of medically dq'd. I think some with waivers pending, some with no waivers requested, ect.

I was going to ask if it gets easier knowing one way or the other, but I wanted to be sensitive to your disappointment too. I keep saying I just want to have an answer one way or the other, but in my heart I know a no will be so hard too. My DS has started talking about things he's going to do...
