What would be the best choice of major if I were to go into SEAL/EOD after the academy?

I was just wondering if anyone knew about the competition for spots in the Combat Rescue officer training program out of USAFA?

Just one last question. Would you be more likely to secure a spot in an airborne division by earning your parachutist badge while at west point?

So is this selection process related to academics?

I know that each cadet has the opportunity to request their specific branch after graduation. However i was just wondering if a specific unit could be requested once the branch of choice was confirmed, for example: an airborne unit.

I was just wondering if I went to USNA as an Arabic major, if there was any possibility of getting into Aviation. From what I have heard and read you are more likely to make it in like a Physics major, but i just wanted to know if I would still have a chance with a foreign language major.

What are safe ACT scores that, considering my school activities and requirements are great, would i need to give me a chance at admission.

In the Navy, I am pretty sure that many jobs will not need the use of a foreign language. So, if I was to major in one at Usna, what would be a good mos to use it in. I know about the foreign area officer mos but not a lot of details, so if anyone can answer one or bothe of these questions I...

Instead of going to OCS, what kind of training do Midshipmen get before The Basic School?

Just explain to your mother that you really want to srve your country in the best possible way... the military. Also, tell her that it will be in the Navy, not like going to Iraq and getting shot at every day. Also, if she complains about the physical challenges with plebe summer/training...

What groups are the cadets at Usma put into. I know that usna has companies and battalions and usafa has squadrons, but not sure about usma.

At plebe summer do midshipmen become acquainted with just the m16 and m9 berreta, or do they shoot other guns? Also what guns are used during marches and practice formations?
