Are mids allowed to apply to scholarships during the academic year in hopes to getting them and then applying them to the ACE loan?

I received an email on 15 Feb notifying me that I received the scholarship.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to update this thread regarding what I have chosen (between my NROTC nurse scholarship and USNA). I will be accepting an appointment to USNA as a part of the c/o 2021! Again, thanks for everyone's advice!

Same here. I definitely know that feeling. I actually didn't know about USNA until around September. I'm planning on doing some outreach as well. My school usually has one or two going to an SA (last two were USAFA and West Point). Navy's the better choice obviously ;)
