Son got Medical Service, 1st Choice

Congrats...My son is currently an MS3 at Cornell. Send me a message if you guys have any questions on the program or Cornell in general.

DS's AROTC scholarship has covered his $47,000+/per year tuition.

He is loving it. I asked him over winter break if he thought he made the right choice and he answered "Definitely!"

No he did not.

He had done nothing since completing it last year, except for having his final HS transcript sent in.

DS called me today with the news that he looked in his portal today and found an LOE. He is a re-applicant and is encouraged by the letter. He also just moved into his college housing and is starting up with AROTC next week. Sigh...here we go again :rolleyes:

WP waiver took about 4 weeks after the waiver request. ROTC is taking longer and just today requested additional medical records... Sent using the Service Academy Forums® mobile app

DS had a DVT over a year ago and like yourself is completely healed and Dr. said it would not be a problem for military service. He was DQ'd on his DODMERB physical but received a waiver from West Point and now is waiting for a waiver from AROTC. Send me a message if you have any questions.

Congrats! He received an approval email as well.

I think he initially submitted the request around April 1st. He had not checked on the status since last Friday...so it changed sometime since friday afternoon.

No Official letter yet, however on his ROTC portal under selection status it now shows the school he requested the transfer to....hoping this is a good sign.
