Hello everyone! Can someone enlighten me on the non-rated USAF jobs process that happens before you graduate USAFA? Also, do you get to pick your base with that job or do you get the job and then the base pick. Thanks!

I haven’t heard of acceptances to the P, but I believe that the CAP recommendations can only get you to the P, not to the academy.

I heard of one cadet getting the recommendation; not sure if they have distributed all of them.

This is one of the types of posts that are more seen in the forums. What people are going to tell you here is to give the academy the best application that you can. I suggest that you to go to the academy admissions website and see the averages for GPAs and CFAs (@shiner gave some great advice...

Hello everyone! As many of you know, I got into USAFA prep! Do I have to travel with my parents for I-day if I'm still a minor (Lodging, etc.)? I don't know which travel option to choose. Thanks in advance!!

It doesn’t go on their portal. USAFA is not directly connected to CAP. CAP is notifying the cadet of their selection, not USAFA.
