Is it possible to get in with a C?

Don't worry about a C...hopefully it was earlier in your high school studies and hopefully you were able to show that you were able to improve that grade over the next couple of years. I was accepted with a C in Algebra II/Trig Honors sophomore year of high school. But I was able to receive As...

    SAT worries

I had a 580 in CR and was accepted. Worry more about the whole-person score - leadership, extracurricular activities, GPA, interviews, essays, etc. Well-rounded is the ideal concept here.

    admissions scores

I was accepted with a 580 CR, 650 writing, 710 math..but it is not just SAT scores. It is really everything else as well, trust me. Make sure you are well rounded with athletics, extra-curriculars, and leadership opportunities.

Some of you may remember me, some of you may not. I was a previous appointee for the Class of 2015 and long story short, decided to drop out on I-Day. Now, two years later, I have decided to reapply for next year's class. My decisions to reapply were stated elsewhere somewhere on this...

    Second Thoughts

RedBull237, I was in the same exact boat as you a year ago. I was originally a member of the Class of 2015, but I left right before taking the Oath on I-Day. You really need to think this through, and think hard. This is an extremely tough decision. You do not want to be looking back...

    Anyone still waiting out there?

    SATs

I had a 710 in math, and 580 in critical reading and I got in...of course there is much more beyond that that got me in too. You have to think about the whole person score.

    Totally qualified??

I would guess he means Triple Qualified, meaning Board (scholastically) qualified, medically qualified, and physically qualified. Since you have a nomination and are triple qualified, you are now competing for an appointment. Congratulations! Except, here comes the wait..

    Admissions Statistics/Graph

http://www.hometownannapolis.com/photos/110130usnaadmissions2.pdf Reposting this from last year. It gives a little more in-depth about admissions at USNA, altough they do not provide SAT scores, GPA's, etc. Personally, I like this chart the most.
