Does someone actually ready the letters before they are given to you? If something private needs to be in the letter, is there a chance that the cadre will read it first? Just curious about how much should be written or complained about.

for the "veteran" parents - any suggestions on spas or restaurants for PW? steak, japanese, pizza, fine dining?? how far in advance do we have to make reservations? anything within a 20-30 drive? thanks.
forgive ignorant me but does the AFA provide those backpack/camelback type packs that i see in some of the pictures? or is the cadet responsible for providing that? is it required or optional? thanks
asking for someone - pearl earrings are apparently allowed at the academy. what is the maximum diameter allowed? are you allowed that during bct or not (i think not but correct me if im wrong.) crosses on necklaces? allowed? thanks
