I'm a current 1/C MIDN and I can confirm that Phase 0 1/C cruises have been cancelled. Not sure what's going to happen with Sea Trials yet

I'm not sure why it would be different at your school, but at Penn State I know of several mids in my class who have successfully switched from a tier 2 to a tier 3. It does need to be approved by NSTC but as long as you have a solid reason, it shouldn't be a problem.

PSU has a solid unit. I think we're around 180ish strong with Navy and Marine options. Tons of resources available because of our size. Almost forgot to mention football.

you don't even have to pass the PRT. the swim physical is super easy too, you just need to swim a pool length in a flight suit, helmet and boots.

I got 4 year NROTC but we do the same PFT I think. My scores were something like 60 pushups, 95 situps and a 5:25 mile. Correct me if I'm wrong here but the PFT isn't a huge deal for the scholarship. They mainly just want to see that you're fit enough to perform in PT etc.
