    Promising email from top college?

Thanks for the quick responses! The school is University of Michigan and I just sent an email to the Captain who reached out to me with what you suggested, Pima. My guess is that Umich will use the program as a whole to influence their decision rather than the scholarship money.

    Promising email from top college?

I received an email yesterday from the captain of AFROTC at my top college congratulating me on winning a scholarship and also noting my application to his detachment, saying that "You seem highly likely to be accepted." (I was deferred during early action). Do you think he might already know my...

AFROTC great news! but it's bitter sweat

As listed, I had my home state school first, then my next two choices, just like your son. It went: Cornell, Georgia Tech, University of Michigan. Umich and GT are my top choices. Like your son, I didn't think that the chances would be good anywhere. I am going for a tech major too, so perhaps...

AFROTC great news! but it's bitter sweat

Yeah, maybe my interview wasn't as good as I thought. Either way, still incredibly grateful and happy! Congrats to you too (my soon to be football rival)!

AFROTC great news! but it's bitter sweat

Also, sheriff, sad because I was going for a type 1 or 2 to help pay for out of state. I thought I had the stats for it (3.96 GPA, 33 ACT, 9:35 run, 65 sit ups, 33 push ups, crap ton of extracurriculars, and a good interview). So, I just had higher expectations, that's all. I do get how...

    Activites Sheet- Interview

Will remember that, thanks. So in your opinion, it's better to go suit and tie to the interview? Not just a dress shirt and blazer?

    Activites Sheet- Interview

Yeah, I guess I will just have to type out my activities onto a separate sheet. :/ Thanks! And I think the resume/ referrals may vary on the recruiter you visit?

    Activites Sheet- Interview

Well I've been asked to fax in my resume and referrals. They've also asked that I bring in my activities sheet from the HSSP portal for the interview itself and that's what I'm having trouble printing.

    Activites Sheet- Interview

So I was asked to bring in the activities sheet this Thursday for my AF ROTC interview, but I can't seem to print it out? Is there some button I'm missing to print the page? Otherwise, it doesn't look right and the boxes below each activity where the descriptions go cut off the sentences in them.

    AFROTC Application Process

Oh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up Pima, I wasn't aware of the smaller details. I'm finding that there's a lot to take in. Is there some website where the entire process is laid out step by step with the little details such as these? I've checked the AFROTC site and I can see vague mentions of...

    AFROTC Application Process

Thanks for the quick reply! I can attend Cornell w/out the type I scholarship between my parents and the money I have set aside. I'm also in NY so that helps. I still choose to do ROTC though to take a load off of them and for the experience it will give. If I hate ROTC then I'll find some way...
