I went to my son’s AROTC orientation, and I found it valuable. It was at a different school, but it helped me learn more about the program and how it works and it was also nice to meet older cadets and talk to them.
Try contacting the local recruiting office. My son was in a similar position when he graduated, but they had already given out all of their sashes. They pretty much have to be ordered in advance. You might get lucky though!
