Does anyone know how USAFA sends appointments with MOC nominations out? Do they do it by state? Do they do competitive slates last? Also, my DD just received medical qualification from DODMERB last week. Will that late qualification impact the possibility of her being in this wave? Thanks!

MD, DC, VA? My rising 8th grader has applied for the summer STEM program and is waiting for the acceptance letter. Does anyone know if being from the MD, DC, VA area puts applicants at a disadvantage since the website puts an emphasis on geographical representation? Thanks!
