Yes, my DD also has two identical letters (dated 11/5 and 11/10), each of which was signed by a different general. I would assume the 11/10 letter trumps the 11/5 letter since it is more recent but I'm not sure if it really matters since the contents of the two letters appear to be identical.

Lots of hope left. DS #3 remained "Boarded" after October 2020 board but later won 4-year in January 2021 to his top 3 schools.

If you can change your school rankings by dragging and dropping them, then your schools are not "locked."

DD has had no change in status of any kind.

Last year my DS' school of intent page did not lock in October and he was not selected. It did lock in January shortly before he received a 4-year scholarship.

Last year it was toward the end of the week following the board (~ Thurs/Fri), with results posted for most people within 24-48 hours after the school of intent page locking.

Last year there was a message posted in red at the top of the School of Intent page indicating changes could not be made at this time (I forget the exact language). You could also not move any of the schools listed up or down in your rankings if you tried to drag them up or down on the list.

Your status is not likely to change to "Not Selected" at this stage in the process. If you are not selected in the October Board, your status will likely change to "Boarded Under Consideration" after decisions are made and remain that way until the January Board.
