hahaha i have to say that was exactly the thought process I went through when I read my letter... It basically listed all the strong points of my application in order when saying what they were looking for. I was looking for a 'Your application was rejected as a result of ______' but none such...

how does the whole express scholarship process work? I was not selected for an AFROTC scholarship but I am still considering enrolling in the program but do I contact the detachment now or do I wait until I am in the ROTC program at the school.

I read somewhere that they cut off the January board early, so I am wondering if they review the candidates alphabetically and if so, they may have had to stop before they got to the far end of the alphabet? Its a huge stretch but its baasically the only explanation of the lack of scholarship...

I don't really have much of a back up unfortunately. EFC is zero so unless I get mad good aid the futures lookin rather dim. Hope to god they made a mistake or something.

Does anyone know if you are eligible for FAFSA on top of an AFROTC scholarship? My EFC is 0, so even if I get a Type 1 paying for room and board will be a problem. So does anyone know if FAFSA will cover whatever my AFROTC scholarship doesn't?
