OK - SO... did your son's portal change? Was there perhaps a PDF copy of the TWE posted on the Home page like they do with all other communications? Or changes on the Overview page? That's the nugget of info I'd really like to find! Best of luck to your son next time - :thumb:

Right - usually somewhat unresponsive... that's why I'm hoping to hear from someone who's planning on re-applying, and who can say what their portal actually reflects after the TWE. Is there another PDF on the home page? A note on the overview page? That sort of thing. :confused:

Anyone who's already received the dreaded TWE from USMA this year (sorry!), was that also posted on your candidate portal? Our son got the TWE from USNA about a month ago, but still has received no word either way from USMA. The Navy portal never changed after the TWE, but then it didn't last...

OK - that's just about exactly what I was thinking, but it's good to hear it from someone with far more ROTC experience! I'll get in touch with our son and find out just how far along in the process he is - thanks for the info. :thumb:

Out of all the Academies, USNA seems to play their cards closest to the vest. Our son applied to USNA last year, and to both USNA and USMA this year... we were shocked at how much more info is available on the USMA portal! I can't speak with any certainty about changes to the USNA portal...

Thanks! That's kind of what I thought... that they wouldn't waste time worrying about the physical until your application was finished and you were otherwise qualified. If ROTC only asks for results later in the process, he'll have to have another physical anyway because it's been 18 months...
