I received a scholarship from my dad's work and the letter informing me says to notify the Air Force Academy of my award. Where should I send the letter, in other words, is there a certain department that would deal with this sort of thing? Thank you.

I didn't and it made it hard so remember that you will be coming back with quite a bit more than you went out with and that stuff needs a place to go.
No swimming and they do not do an actual "obstacle" course as I think that is out at Jack's Valley.
You do an element challenge though which is a lot of fun. It is structured similar to an obstacle course.
Looks good just stay on track. Looks like your very involved outside school which is good. Right now I'd say the biggest thing is just keep working on academics and towards those ACT and SAT scores.
Also, I know your only a freshman, but look for leadership poistions! Looks like you have lots...
The physical demands are not incredibly hard but do be prepared. Do some running before you go and just make sure you have a good amount of endurance because your days will be busy. If you aren't used to the alttitude endurance will also be of great aid.

The room I stayed in for orientation had all of those. It was after recognition though so I don't know when exactly you are allowed to have each but it's probably by squadron basis.
Doesn't really hurt at all. It's just to see how you're doing, more of a self-test than an official one. Your scores are not officially recorded. I did terrible at SS on the CFA and simply improved my scores and did better when it counted.
I can vouch for mapmyrun as well. It's pretty accurate and a fun way to track runs and workouts. Like mmct said time is more important but it is still interesting to see where and how far you ran. :thumb:
