Sorry - time limits regarding how long he can be in limbo. So far he has had 3 dates for starting active duty. In theory, could this go on for a couple of years? One of your questions triggered another. Is he supposed to report any job he takes to the AF?

Long Wait My son was commissioned at graduation in May. He is going in a technical field, not as a pilot. Initially he was told he would enter active duty in September. He got a job in retail to get some money coming in for a while. He was recently told that date was now next May (one...
