Yes I received a 4-year campus based scholarship to Virginia Tech.

My status updated to Dodmerb message on the 26th and changed today to show the school selected

I got my offer for a four-year Army ROTC Scholarship today in the mail to VPI. My question is, after I send it back accepting it, what's next? I know that I will have to pass the medical examination but it seems Dodmerb doesn't have my info yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got a call from the ROO at my top choice and was told that the scholarship is a campus based 4-year. :shake:

Been waiting seven agonizing months to say this! My status changed! :biggrin::biggrin::biggrin::biggrin: Excited beyond belief!

burton09, I'm doing Army at VT as well. I guess I'll see you at New Cadet Week :thumb: And agreed, this scholarship would be amazing, hopefully a change will come tomorrow!

cjs, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Was it from the March board? It seems early for it to be from the board meeting this week?

I say R.O.T.C.. But one time I did say Rot-C and I got scolded for saying it like that because I guess some people say "Rot-C Nazi" :rolleyes:

Got admitted this week as well. My letter said the same thing as CronusMom's son (Freshman cadet). Well hopefully this means we are in the CoC. Hopefully we will get another packet (CoC) shortly.

I could be wrong, but I don't think anyone has even heard from the Jan 26th board yet.

Nothing here. It seems weird that no one has heard anything. Especially since there is a board coming up tomorrow. Hopefully some positive news will be coming to all of us fairly soon.

Rocky33, You guys got my dream school (JMU). Hopefully I'll be joining your child next Fall. Still no word here yet though :frown:
