I understand that they only give 20 appointments out of each year for the JROTC nomination. That is a very small number in the scheme of things. As I have not been notified yet, I hope that there is still hope for an appointment.
I am currently a high school senior. I have an MOC and JROTC nomination to USNA.
I learned that another individual who was nominated through my MOC was offered an appointment to USNA. My MOC did not give out principle nominations. Do I still have a shot at receiving an appointment at USNA...
To continue on the topic of legacy... Both of my parents graduated from USMMA. I applied to all five academies. Does their legacy carry any weight as far as the other four academies are concerned?
