Yes I have received an appointment. So there is no open house in April? That is what I meant by an accepted students day

Has anyone heard about/received an invitation for an accepted students day? I was made a principal candidate back in November and have received both BFEs but nothing else. Is that normal?

I wore a suit to to my visit and received a letter from KP that a tie was mandatory but a jacket was optional. Mine was also in November so it might have been more formal because of the winter I guess.

My experience was the same. Went to about four classes and hung out in the dorm while my plebe studied. Got to go around the campus and meet alot of interesting and new people. It was a great experience and helped me alot.

the BFE should come in about a week and then you will send in a form saying you plan on attending and then another BFE will come. Neither is fat tho just big

Thank you, I will make sure to do all of those. I am from Connecticut and New Haven has a small port, but if not Newark is only a two hour drive and I am fairly confident I can get my TWIC from there.

Thank you very much. Does anybody know when accepted students should begin to hear what we need to do, like the wisdom teeth and TWIC, from the academy?

on the USMMA home page at the bottom is the Class of 2016 Logging In Book. Since it's a year newer it's information might be closer to was the Class of 2017 will have.

Do you need the TWIC before Indoc or before your Sear Year?

kdbax, What other mailings should I expect from the academy?

Mine was skinny but obviously not a TWE. They put the acceptance letter in a nice folder and that was about how big the envelope was.
