When my son visited West Point, he noticed that many of the cadets were using iPads (tablets). Does anyone know what we should get? I'm assuming they are not issued. Do we need just the WiFi or should we get a cell line for it as well? Thanks for your help!

What "follow-on" testing did your student have to complete? Was it a tape test? My athletic son will never be under the weight limit, but I'm sure he has less than 20% body fat. He qualified DODMERB and received his appointment. No one has mentioned his weight yet, but I think he's 10-15...

Thanks for your responses! He's continuing to work out and is in the best shape of his life! I shouldn't sweat it, it's just the absolutely last thing he needs to check off the list. West Point is his dream and I see it opening so many doors in his future. We are all so excited!

How soon after uploading videos/CFA scores were you notified that you needed to redo videos, or redo the CFA? My son completed and uploaded on 12/20, and everything is still pending. The holidays could be delaying things, but I am hopeful he would have heard by now if he needed to redo...

Hardest part of the application, hands down was getting those SOEs! (Well except for the pull ups)!!! My son asked last May and just got the last one at the end of December. Its ridiculous!!!

First - YOU CAN DO IT! My son played football and basically waited until after the season to really prepare for the CFA. He spent the last month preparing and just tested last night. We don't know if he passed but he did do better than average on 3 events and worse than average on 3. No one...

Pull ups update - this week DS tried something new and did Lat Pull downs and he doubled his pull ups after a week. Now he only went from 2-4, but still amazing since he's really struggled to get to 2. Another thing he did is not do a mock test every day, just continued to work on every event...
