A plebe in my DD's company switched to USAFA over the spring semester. Like someone else pointed out, I don't know how needing a medical waiver might affect this for you.

I wonder if there is any chance the mids can take a little weekend and go home for mother's day 🥰. (Taking into considerations they have no military obligations etc).

My DD was one of those rare cases last year, but for USNA. Got the TD on the 17th, MOC office called on the 24th. At midnight, the TD turned to a FQOA. Who knows why and I can't thank God more, but it happens.

I think police stations are used to seeing this document mailed directly to them for people going into the military, and not us ( parents/applicants) hand-delivering it to them. I went in for my daughter and had to explain this several times, but luckily they filled it out and gave it right back...

From my experience last year... DD went for her physical and vision exam last year on 2/2. She was cleared by DODmerb by 02/21. I think her portal turned green within a day or two.

I saw some tattood on I-day on forearms and legs. Going through plebe summer pictures, many detailers have them too. So don't worry too much about it. Just report it and don't stress out.
