DoDMERB Timeframe/advice; Waiver Review Over 1.5 years

Hello all, I was reluctant to post this because I know how redundant DoDMERB timeframe posts can be. I am seeking guidance on if there is anything I can do to improve my situation. I am currently an MS2 on a 3-year AD scholarship. I have a 3.55, am at the top of my class for the ACFT, and work...

DoDMERB Active Medical Codes and DoDMETS Appointment

Have you received the email? I did not receive an out of office reply when I sent it through my personal email. I resent it through my school email and also did not receive one.

DoDMERB Active Medical Codes and DoDMETS Appointment

Good Afternoon, I posted a while ago regarding the process of getting a waiver and fulfilling the medical codes on DoDMERB. At the moment I am unsure if whether I have hit a roadblock or if just need to wait longer. On 27AUG2020 I received a correspondence requesting that I attain a psychiatric...

    DoDMERB Waiver Mood Disorder

I feel that my question may be repetitive and asked a million times but I want to ensure i'm not missing anything critical and can work out my plan b's c's etc if need be. I am currently an MSI in Army ROTC at University of Portland on a 3-year AD scholarship. Prior to arriving at UP I completed...

    AROTC Scholarship After Board

Had the same thing happen to me, applied for national scholarship but didn't get anything for the 3 boards, then got a 3 year AD offer. My ROO told me that he had a limited amount to hand out so I assume there was some sort of competition between cadets.

AROTC Scholarship Board - Week of March 23, 2020

I wasn't selected either, congrats to those who were though.

AROTC Scholarship Board - Week of March 23, 2020

Still b/uc... Have a feeling that it will stay that way. While it sucks that I fell short when I put everything I had forward, I refuse to let this stop me. I think for those of us who were not selected, we should not let this stop us from doing AROTC. Show them how badly we want it and bring...

    AROTC Scholarship Second Board?

Same here, it sucks and I honestly think you and jarhead should have gotten one from your guys stats

    AROTC Board 2

Still b/c over here sadly. I'm keeping my hopes up for the third board but I feel like my chances are slim. Congrats to the people who got it though! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed and mad at myself, but as long as I can get in the AROTC program scholarship or not I'll be happy!

    Parents...

I agree with this to a certain extent. I personally don't see it being wrong when parents help their kids on applications, but I feel like having your hand held through the entire process is making kids lose out on a lot of learning opportunities and experience. My parents are actually greatly...

    Weighted vs. Unweighted GPA?

That right there is very factual. I am guilty of having been one of those people during my freshman and sophomore year of hs. I set the bare minimum as my standard despite having the ability to challenge myself and take harder classes. My test scores were good but my homework sucked, making my...
