Quick question - Does NSI allow the use of electric razors? When I went through enlisted boot camp and OCS, it was razor only. Is NSI the same?

We agree. Son met with NRTOC unit and toured the campus and cant wait to attend in the fall!

Different college, but for what it is worth my DS appealed his decision at UT citing his scholarship and was awarded enrollment last week. If you don't shoot you can't score!. Best of luck. Definitely utilize the NROTC unit to assist you.

I am sorry. I must have misunderstood but we received an email from the CO and said that it was the UCLA/USC Consortium. Maybe they are two different units but we understood it to be one due to the email. Sorry about the confusion. WIth that said, Yes my son was awarded the scholarship but...

Just to clarify, University of Southern California or University of South Carolina. USCalifornia has the same rotc unit as UCLA and they have been very good at communicating with my son. He was waitlisted at UCLA but the unit seems to be very helpful nonetheless.

Interesting as that seems to be the norm this week. My son was waitlisted at UCLA and accepted at UCSD as well, however based on another thread, I believe that San Diego ROTC units are not an option due to being full at this time. We are still looking at other schools outside California as well.

@GWU PNS I cant find where you said it, but when you say that San Diego State is full, does this include all of the crosstown colleges. My son just got into UCSD and is wondering if that is still an option or is all of San Diego is closed.
