I don't know for certain, but for the Air Force Academy, having surgery will automatically disqualify you. Besides, if you become a pilot, I think they will fix them for you.

If one person has an LOA and ranked #10 while the principal nominee doesn’t have an LOA (and the congressman only has one spot available), does the LOA person take the 5th spot and the principal nominee doesn't get an appointment? So I guess what I'm trying to say is that under any given...

LB91, May I ask how did you know you guys were waitlisted? I was rejected and only received mail confirmation. By the way, Congratulations! I would imagine that’s one of the most exciting things to find out. :biggrin:

Yea, I saw that and think that's really awesome. But that person said they were waitlisted and I don't think I am - I'll ask them how they knew they were waitlisted... Anyways, It's not that big of a deal. I'll work on what I can control for now.:thumb:

Yea, no offense taken. I don't know if I got waitlisted or "flat out" rejected. I guess I got rejected because it says in the Summer Seminar letter that "due to the limited number of participants we can accommodate in Summer Seminar, we regret we are unable to invite you to attend this...

I'm kind of sad I didn't get into the Summer Seminar, but I still got one of these letters today.
