My DD is wondering if they are going to be tested on the Armed Forces Officer reading assignment. This will determine what type of reading is necessary: reading to inform vs. reading to recall. Any information would be great. She has already read it. She just wants to know if she should STUDY it...

I'm looking at the "In-Processing Checklist" and it clearly states to bring white sports bras and briefs. It doesn't state anything regarding socks. Are those issued to the cadets or should my DD pack those as well? If so, what kind?

I went with "highly recommended" and bought them for my DD. She is running with them now, and already suffering a bit with shin splints. Yikes! It is definitely different than running in nice, comfy running shoes. I find it very odd that the powers that be would "highly recommend" buying boots...
