Well, I just found out today (after the DoDMERB site went back online) that I was granted a medical waiver! :smile:

I was disqualified back in early August due to "history of knee dislocation," and my status under USNA has been "Pending Waiver Submission/Review." I know all the SAs have their own timeframes, but on 11/4 USAFA told me they would request a waiver for me and on 12/10 I was granted the waiver. Is...

I know some people didn't have waivers requested until recently, but I received notice on 11/4 that USAFA requested a waiver and I found out on 12/10 that the waiver was granted. That's just the timeframe I had, to give you an idea.

1) BFE - Big Fat Envelope 2) Members of Congress nominate candidates to each academy, they do not appoint them. The appointment thread refers to candidates who have received a nomination and have been accepted (appointed) by the academy.

I also just got a letter from Levin (two days ago) stating that I won't receive a nomination since I have one from another source. I apologize that they couldn't get your gender right. :frown:
